Its summer ladies the time of the sun, and the sun kissed hair. Get your blonde on!
There is a shade of blonde and a color contour for everyone, find the best one for you. The more time you spend outside the blonder you'll be, thank you sun <3.
Not all blondes are the same and not all blondes have to come with dry hair. You can pick the type of shade that is right for you, and a unique beauty (or follow in the footsteps of your favorite celeb, love my Kardashians). When there comes blonde there comes moisturizing, not just for your face. Keeping your hair healthy may take some conditioning treatments, but hey whats an add on compared to gorgeous healthy hair?
The icy platinum blonde, the gray blonde hair can stop a man in his tracks. It adds attention to you and makes a women feel powerful. Its the lightest of the blondes and takes some toner up keep. Its suggested for light to mid skin tones, giving a nice but not drastic contrast. This shade of blonde not only looks good as a full root to ends look but as well as a balayage. For up keep use davines silver shampoo and conditioner, to keep the tones in the hair.
That sweet spot right between the golden and icy blonde giving you the best of both worlds. Its a soft and subtle blonde that makes the hair look very natural. The beiged out color is easier to keep then the icy and can work for tanner skin tones.
The natural golden honey blonde, the suns bestie. The golden tones is an easy up keep and the sun will naturally make it lighter with out taking away any gold from the hair. With tones of golden in the hair it is most versatile with skin tones and dimension. This blonde looks good on most skin tones and is easier to achieve this shade.
A perfect contour for the face, it adds definition that frames the face. Its important to have the right contour to compliment the face.
Balayage is a great way to start blonde, its the blonde without the commitment. You wont have to get those roots touched up, just freshen the color and your better then golden. Not only is it easier up keep but it is raging in fashion right now. The balayege trend is only going to get bigger this year.

Cut = Healthy
Healthy = Grow
Another way to know you need a hair cut is to look at the shape of your hair, this goes for shorter to medium length, above or right on the shoulders. These kind of styles are cut at a certain angle to layer on the shape of the head, the more it grows the more it loses it shape. After the the layers have grown past a certain point on your head, the cut becomes bulky and misshapen. There for to prevent this you should schedule regular appoints with your stylist.
Last of all you will know you need a haircut if your bangs are in your face, bangs are a great indicator of knowing how much your hair has grown. So if you like you hair at a certain length, your bangs will give you the heads up when its time.
Lets keep that hair healthy!

Facials are a relaxing experience for everyone, but there not just a fancy face wash. They have some serious benefits to getting a facial. Facials can help clear up skin problems, weather its blemishes, dry spots, black heads, or overly oily productive skin. It promotes circulation, relaxes you, and of course helps reduce wrinkles and aging signs.
-Deep cleansing gets rid of all the dead skin, oil, and dirt on your face. Leaving your skin feeling tight and clear.
-Removes toxins for the skin from all the pollution in the air , the environment can be harsh on the skin, and your skin and hair likes to suck up all those toxins in the air. A deep clean that is provided by a facial dramatically reduces the stress your skin is under and truly makes it healthier.
-Removes over active sebum. Facials get rid of all the grime that accumulated, including the dead skin cells that get left on your skin, all the dirt in your pores, and reduces the amount of excess sebum, which is the oils produced by your skin and hair.
-Increases circulation in the skin and face, a facial is basically a face massage. When the skin is stimulated, this increase the amount of blood cells that are attracted to the area, making cells grow with greater ease bringing more white blood cells to your lovely face to fight off those irritants, improving your skin from contracting as many blemishes.
-Increases the flow of oxygen-enriched blood cells to the facial skin, promoting new skin cells keeping your skin healthy and looking new. Your cells are replacing them selves in a timely manner.
-A facial can be majorly relaxing, having a nice doze off from the stress of your life, with peaceful music and a magical touch. Now I don't know about you but having that little hour of just forgetting my crazy life sounds amazing.
-Stress relieving, it has been proven that facials can relieve stress, the relaxation process leaves your body well relaxed your muscles aren't as tight. You get a feeling of calm and puts you in a gentler mood. Grab a smoothie after and your all set.
-Slows aging process, due to the amount of skin cells replenishing after a good stimulation to the skin.
-Reduces wrinkles and dry skin, facials moisturizes the skin and leaves it feeling tight and replenished.
-Plumps up skin cells with nutrients, the facial scrubs, toner, and moisturizers are designed to give your skin those natural nutrients that it needs to keep its cleanliness and health.
-Helps develop and maintain healthy skin cells, the stimulation that the skin receives during a facial brings in lots of blood to your face. Causing the production of new skin cells.
Facials are a step in the right direction for your skin, if your hesitating on getting one, dont! They truly benefit you in more then one way. Hey why not treat your self, your beautiful not matter what. But the more you care for your skin the more it will care for you.
We are excited about Jane Iredale, and here's 7 reasons why.
1. It's hypoallergenic.
Have sensitive skin? No problem, we've got you covered. Alot of companies will just pile anything into their make up, and your skin suffers. But sensitive skin worriers, fret not! Jane Iredale will keep that end of day blotchieness, itchy face, and acne away. These products don't fight your skin, it works with it.
2. Cotton Candy Blush
This blush is what dreams are made of. If you are searching for a perfect blush, look no further. With just enough shimmer to give you a summer glow without making you look plastic this blush is too perfect! It's light pink hue is perfect for all seasons.
3. It's actually good for your skin!
You read that right, this make up is good for your skin. I'll say it again, a make up that doesn't fight your skin but works with its' natural oils and chemical makeup. A makeup that is good for your skin is hard to believe but, dreams do come true! Each and every product offers some sort of benefit to your lips or skin!
4. It's organic
Organic... what does it mean for make up? It means that all the pigments are mineral based, so they are all natural. Organic isn't a term exclusively used for groceries and food. Instead of clogging your pores with products containing unknown chemicals and ingredients, treat your skin to light and natural products.
5. It's cruelty free
No bunnys were harmed in the making of this make up. Actually, no animals at all were used to test any of their make up. Can we give them an award? They love our animal friends as much as we do. <3
6.Crazy acne pills
Jane Iredale carries an acne supplement called, Accumax. Accumax works from the inside, out. Acne starts under the surface of the skin so start there! This supplement is proven to work and that is why we love it!
7. The concealers
I'm gonna say it for the ones in the back, a concealer that actually conceals. You don't even have to cake it on. For those of you who suffer from acne, this product will be your best friend. Instead of hiding under a hat during those breakouts, just grab your concealer and blend those little suckers away! Remember, it's not going to clog up those pores and make everything worse so blend away and keep your acne secret between you and your concealer ;)

Love your hair color?
Of course! Your stylist works so hard to give you the perfect color for you.
Here are 6 tips to keep that color looking vibrant till your next appointment.
1. Get the Minu Post Color Treatment
Minu post color treatment does wonders, it closes and seals the cuticle so that your color stays put in the hair shaft, where its suppose to be. This treatment extends your color and only takes 3 minutes making it a must add-on.
2. Less Washes
Keep that shampoo away from your hair as long as possible! Try washing your hair 2-3 times a week max. Shampoo is great to cleanse your hair, but it also strips your hair of oils and color, exposing your hair less to less striping agents will prolong your color. When using shampoo always use conditioner after to replenish your hair, and put moisture back in.
3. Color infused shampoo and conditioner
Keep your color bright with a color shampoo.
Fun Fact: Reds are the hardest color to maintain.
Keeping up reds just got easier with color shampoo, the shampoo holds the primary pigments to your color. Davines has a line of color shampoos that range from silver, red, of course blondes, and brunettes. Every time you use the shampoo or conditioner it revitalizes your color.
4. Stay away from the pool
Keep that hair away from Chlorine. Chlorine will strip the hair if natural oils, moisture, and can damage the cuticle. Chlorine is very diluted in a pool, but can dry out your skin, and force open your hair cuticles. Blondes beware the most, your hair is a sponge and loves to such up water. A higher concentration of chlorine can go into your hair and leave a greenish tint. (If this happens use a clarifying shampoo)
5. Less Hot Water
Stay away from hot and steamy water, just on your head. No cold showers needed! Hot water opens up your hair cuticle, the cuticle is opened, its much easier for partials to go in like moisture but also easier for partials to get out, like your color. To avoid the color leakage use cold to lukewarm water to wash your hair.
6. Color Safe Shampoo
If you have a special color that isn't available in the colored shampoos, your still covered. Use a color safe shampoo. Milu shampoo and conditioner offer color protection, to help from fading. Not only keeping your color safe but nourishing your hair, putting moisture back in and keeping your hair from further damage.
