When to get a haircut?

​Have you ever felt your hair and the ends feel brittle and lifeless. You can obviously tell that those ends are dead and have seen better days. Or your hair seem to be in a growing rut, where a week or a month tend to make no difference in the length of you hair? Sounds like a hair cut is in your near future. 

Wait did he said hair cut? But im trying to grow my hair out, how does that work?
Well actually those dead ends are just adding extra stress on your hair, those proteins trying to get all the way down there. Chopping those ends off can and will make your hair healthier. By cutting the hair, the hair doesn't have to stress as hard, and by having healthy ends. Therefore you have healthier hair that will want to grow.

Healthy = Grow

Another way to know you need a hair cut is to look at the shape of your hair, this goes for shorter to medium length, above or right on the shoulders. These kind of styles are cut at a certain angle to layer on the shape of the head, the more it grows the more it loses it shape. After the the layers have grown past a certain point on your head, the cut becomes bulky and misshapen. There for to prevent this you should schedule regular appoints with your stylist.

Last of all you will know you need a haircut if your bangs are in your face, bangs are a great indicator of knowing how much your hair has grown. So if you like you hair at a certain length, your bangs will give you the heads up when its time.
