Cleansers

Do you suffer from acne? If you do, you're not alone. 75% of people have some form of acne in their life. For some of us, our skin produces lots of oil which can clog our pores along with environmental agents. Fun stuff, right? So we know we have to clean our faces, but how good are the products we use? We're going to talk to our esthetician extraordinaire, Carolyn to see what products she recommends for our skin type! Carolyn is somewhat of a guru when it comes to skin and how to take care of it. She is also highly knowledgeable on the best products to use. At Orrell Design, we carry and use Skin Script Rx products.

Pomegranate Antioxidant Cleanser

This cleanser is for people with Rosacea or sensitive skin. It soothes skin irritation, calms and provides anti-inflammatory benefits. The cleanser assists in boosting hydration levels in the skin, and enhances cellular turnover, rejuvenating your skin. It's not the fountain of youth, but it's the next best thing.

Green Tea Citrus Antioxidant Cleanser

This cleanser is for normal, combination, and sensitive skin. It cleans, clarifies, and supports skin immune functions. It also helps maintain healthy cell function and provides cellular protection from free radicals.

Raspberry Refining Cleanser

This cleanser is for oily and acneic skin. This is our Esthetician’s personal favorite. She says,
“I've seen miracles with this cleanser at clearing up acne.” So, if a miracle is what you're looking for, look no further! It clarifies, exfoliates, provides surface renewal, and reduces oil and debris. It also prevents future breakouts so you can worry about that hot date rather than your problem skin!
These products are the bees knees! If anything can take care of your skin, it's Skin Script Rx. Not only are all the products specially formulated by doctors, but they are all natural. I didn't think skin products could smell so good and work so well. Come see Carolyn at Orrell Design to get a customized prescription of skin care products for your skin type!

Built in Sunscreen

As we all know, sun exposure can be very damaging and harmful to our skin. While we know to lather on the SPF before heading out to the pool or beach, most of us fall short when it comes to sun protection day to day. Whether it’s due to lack of knowledge or time, our poor skin is suffering! Here at Orrell we are confident we have found the best combination of SPF products. Not only will they keep your skin young, beautiful, healthy, and protected; but they are also easy to use!

Step 1: Facial cleanser and Moisturizer

Picture

Our esthetician, Carolyn suggests keeping it simple. Who has time for these insane celebrity skin regimens anyway? I know I don’t. Our product recommendations are Cosmedix Benefit Clean followed by Peptide Rich Defense (a 2 in 1 moisturizer with SPF 50!). Both of these products are super light with maximum benefit

Step 2: Built in protection

Picture
https://janeiredale.com/us/en/mineral-makeup/mineral-makeup-foundation/powder-me-spf-dry-sunscreen.htm
If you are already wearing makeup every day, make it easier on yourself and grab some makeup with SPF built in. We have all fallen in love with Jane Iredale makeup. Not only is it easy on your skin due to its mineral based ingredients, it has SPF. Kerrie Orrells favorite product is the Powder Bronzer. While she doesn’t wear much makeup, she likes to add a little glow by applying bronzer to her face, neck, decollete, and shoulders.  So not only does she look fabulous but she is protecting her skin from the harsh effects of the sun.
Et Voila! You have “mineral” effort for maximum skin protection! For those of you who need more convincing, Jane Iredale Makeup is a cruelty free, mineral based, vegan product; keeping it green, pure, and carbon footprint friendly!

Do you have a favorite beauty product or regimen? Let us know! We love to learn how the rest of the world is keeping themselves healthy and beautiful. And aren’t two beautiful heads better than one?
