Minu post color treatment does wonders, it closes and seals the cuticle so that your color stays put in the hair shaft, where its suppose to be. This treatment extends your color and only takes 3 minutes making it a must add-on.

2. Less Washes

Keep that shampoo away from your hair as long as possible! Try washing your hair 2-3 times a week max. Shampoo is great to cleanse your hair, but it also strips your hair of oils and color, exposing your hair less to less striping agents will prolong your color. When using shampoo always use conditioner after to replenish your hair, and put moisture back in.

3. Color infused shampoo and conditioner

Keep your color bright with a color shampoo.
Fun Fact: Reds are the hardest color to maintain.
Keeping up reds just got easier with color shampoo, the shampoo holds the primary pigments to your color. Davines has a line of color shampoos that range from silver, red, of course blondes, and brunettes. Every time you use the shampoo or conditioner it revitalizes your color.

4. Stay away from the pool

Keep that hair away from Chlorine. Chlorine will strip the hair if natural oils, moisture, and can damage the cuticle. Chlorine is very diluted in a pool, but can dry out your skin, and force open your hair cuticles. Blondes beware the most, your hair is a sponge and loves to such up water. A higher concentration of chlorine can go into your hair and leave a greenish tint. (If this happens use a clarifying shampoo)

5. Less Hot Water

Stay away from hot and steamy water, just on your head. No cold showers needed! Hot water opens up your hair cuticle, the cuticle is opened, its much easier for partials to go in like moisture but also easier for partials to get out, like your color. To avoid the color leakage use cold to lukewarm water to wash your hair.

6. Color Safe Shampoo
