The bob is a very simple but complex cut. It comes in many forms, and styles, sounds a little crazy right? Well if you didn't hear the 70s are back and that means we're rocking to old school bob as well as the new adaptations of it as well.
The adaptations can come in softer or sharp and hard lines, either way they are short and fun!

Long Bob

The long bob is chic with a build underneath, these bobs usually have a soft curve at the bottom giving it body and shape. These are simple cut to take care of and it’s not a drastic cut when you decide to go shorter. ​

Inverted bob

The Inverted bob is a long bob at the front and retreats to a shorter back. This gives not only body but dimension to not only the hair but the face and your frame. This is a more modern take on the bob and is a booming trend, it's easy to deal with and very cute. You don't have to sacrifice to much length in the front with this one. ​

Half bob

The half bob as well a bob length cut with a fair amount of body on one side and the other side it usually shaved down. So you have a far amount of hair on the one side giving it quite the dramatic look. This is a chic and bold style, for those that like to make a statement with their hair.

Soft Bob

The soft bob is a shorter bob that has all the build to make the body but the edges are rounded and softened out so you don't see any lines. This is considered the classic bob, the shape is nice and round and is usually cut off around the chin, adding shape the head but leaving the neck exposed.

The hard bob is a modern take on the classic soft bob, it is also known as the Vidal Sassoon bob for its bold and sharp lines. Which are very precise and crisp. Instead of a rounded build to make the shape the layers build up and stop at a very distinct hard line. This makes the bob so sharp and captivating, it is definitely a statement maker.
