Hair Story introduces you to a new way to wash your hair. Based on the principle that all shampoos contain harsh chemicals called detergents. That's right, no matter how many times they put “Sulfate-free” “Paraffin-free” on the bottles, if it's a shampoo it's damaging to your hair. 

My favorite part of Hair Story’s New Wash? I don’t have to use conditioner! Using New Wash is a totally new experience when it comes to washing your hair. New Wash doesn’t sud, foam or slide through your hair. Instead you massage New Wash into the scalp and make sure to lather your hair. Let New Wash sit in your hair for a couple minutes and then comb through and rinse really well. That easy! Hair Story promises you will not need a conditioner; I promise you that, too.

The result: Soft, revived hair and the ability to see your hair's personality, without frizz. Michael Gordon, the owner of Hair Story, says: “I find my curls have improved, my hair looks more modern; it feels lived-in.”

There are three styling products that come with the Hair Story Line:

Dressed Up is a blow dry serum made to make the hair look modern with the intention of looking stylish effortlessly. Apply a dime size amount throughout the hair before blow drying and Voila!

Hair Balm is great for natural textures. It is moisturizing and bouncing - so perfect for dry, highly colored or processed hair. It's perfect for air drying your luscious locks! Apply two pumps to your damp hair and you're ready to go!

Undressed may be my favorite of the products. It's a more modern approach to texture, more gentle than your typical sea salt spray and WAY less crunchy! (yay) Spritz into dry or damp hair. I love to curl hair with a wand and then spray a little in the ends. Gives the perfect mermaid look!
