After the product is applied to the hair, Misa suggest twisting the hair into small sections to enhance curl and provide support for curls in naturally straight hair. Use the Diffuser on max heat and minimum speed. Gather the ends of the hair into the diffuser and scrunch them up into the diffuser against your scalp. The beginning of the styling process should focus on drying the roots. In a circular motion place the diffusers teeth agains the scalp and slowly move the roots of the hair around. Getting the roots to dry in an upright position will create more volume. Plus it feels like an awesome head massage. Once the roots are dry, begin to concentrate on the ends of the hair. In a scrunching motion, gather the ends of the hair into the diffuser and lightly move the blow dryer upward towards the scalp.
Yingzi suggests “dirtying up” hair that is fine, limp or naturally straight. Apply dry shampoo and sea salt spray after styling to leave texture and give hold. Dry shampoo will help the hair hold volume at the roots and ends and the Sea Salt spray will create a sticky surface allowing the hair texturize itself and keeping fine hairs from sticking together.
